High School Youth Group (HYG) News

The RETREAT was AWESOME!! 16 youth took part in our annual gathering on the shores of Bryant Pond, where we pondered God's call, committed to action, and shaped our plans for the coming year. We enjoyed fine food, fabulous fellowship, and frolicking fun!
MANY THANKS to chaperones Tom Stegemann and Jim Mazur for their time and care; to Jim Mazur for renting and hauling a trailer for our gear; to Pastor Dawn for her presence, help, and spiritual guidance; and to the entire congregation for your support!

Tuesday, October 7: High School Youth will help from 4:30-6:30pm to serve at the
Community Supper. Please let Matt Goldstein know if you can be there.

Sunday, October 19: Second Sunday will be on (yes, that's the third Sunday of October). All high school youth are welcome to join us at church from 4-6pm, program TBD.

Rent-a-Kid: Our annual fall FUNdraiser, will be Saturday, October 25 with a backup date of Saturday, November 1. Mark your calendar now so you can be part of this great day.

Sunday, November 2: Our day to participate in worship. We need greeters, ushers, and a liturgist, and we hope all of you will be there to worship with our congregation and to gather for
discussion in the youth room from 11:15-12:30pm. Please contact Lynne Cooney at 781-5324 to sign up for a job.
