Galen Rier started working for the church in 2025 as a Church School teacher, and in 2026 took on the Building Manager role as well. He lives in Falmouth with his two children and two cats. Galen grew up in Lubec, Maine, and attended the University of Maine, graduating with a B.A. and M.A. in Mathematics and Statistics. After working as a software engineer for 15 years he pivoted careers to more directly service the community he calls home, and spend more time with his children. In his spare time, Galen enjoys playing piano, gardening, and all things outdoors, especially camping.
