Church School

Our youngest Christians start service with the congregation, and then head to Children’s Church. At Children’s Church they make meaning and have fun through play and activities centered around Bible stories.

From mapping Jesus’ family tree (lots of surprising characters!) to performing songs in the congregation, our church children are integral and celebrated members of our community of faith.

Church school takes a break for the summer but resumes September 8th with our kickoff Sunday!

This Fall we will be thinking about Parables, and how they can teach us to see the world (and ourselves) differently. We will also be collecting food for the food pantry, dressing up for Halloween, and generally having lots of fun!

Coming to church with a little? Check out our Cozy Corner, a a spot with books, stuffies, and a take home blanket knitted by our Prayer Shawl team. Grownups can see and hear the worship service, and little ones can enjoy rocking on the rocking chair and reading/chewing the board books!

In September we will also have nursery care in our nursery off of Beinema Hall for babies and children under 4 years old. Ask the Greeter at the Front Door (or any friendly face) and they will show you the way! The Nursery is undergoing renovations this summer to be extra clean and welcoming for little ones in September!
